PROCESS

1) DISCOVERY CALL - FREE OF CHARGE:

When we receive your inquiry (a phone call / text/ e-mail) you will receive a project questionnaire and a 15 minute discovery call to answer your questions, hear your project brief and to determine the best project approach. You can attach any drawings/ plans and inspiration you have with your questionnaire and email them back for review prior to the design consultation.

2) DESIGN CONSULTATION - PROJECT STUDY:

This will be a 1 - 1.5 hour in person (or if you are out of the state, a virtual project consultation) with Anna, our senior designer and CEO. We offer in person consultations in the Seattle area, Eastside and Tacoma, but may be willing to travel outside - please call/ email to check with us as we often take projects outside of Seattle.
During this meeting Anna will discuss your project objectives and ideas that will lead to the development of your general design scope and concept. You will receive advice regarding your project approach, direction, vendors and indication of remodel price ranges if applicable. This meeting is also the opportunity to go over any design process questions, timeline and cost.

Following our project consultation we will send you a detailed design agreement listing your project objectives, scope, outline of design services and fees.
There is a $350 fee involved which is due upon the consultation booking.

3) START DESIGNING!

After we signed the agreement, the design process begins! Moving along, as needed, (every project has unique needs) we provide the following services:

Initial site measure and site inspection, detailed notes of site conditions and measurements of each room with laser.
Finishes palettes/ inspiration books/ mood boards to choose from which are presented during in person/ zoom meetings,
Store/ vendor visits for furnishings, décor elements, and sample selections, as well as sample orders (Paints, flooring, cabinet finishes, countertop, tile samples, fabrics, wood stains, stones etc.),
Specifications of selected fixtures, furniture, elements,
Space plan done in CAD software, elevations and section views, as needed,
3D renderings of the space. Below are examples of drawings and visuals I provide,
During preliminary stages of the design I occasionally provide hand sketches of initial idea/ layout for the purpose of fast idea translation.
Collaboration with the contractor and project management.

*Please inquire about projects out of the state - we offer virtual design and also for an extra fee travel out of the state for the initial consultation, which would include a site survey.
